SOLD (1930) 5 Blue B Mr Billington £140 14 ins woven labelMr Billington is a Chad Valley with a blue button at the BACK of his ear and red label. He is particularly soft with a reasonable covering of mohair, about 70 80%. He has a bald patch where his bellows growler has been pressed over and over again. His paws are replaced and his carded pads are patched felt originals retaining his red label. Yet another Chad with a particularly lovely expression and a rare button, not often seen behind the ear.
