I came upon this majestic scene of snow covered fir trees

I made my way around the north end of the lake and stayed to photograph the two moose for another forty five minutes with Hallett Peak

I ended up going through the creek to cross rather then using the bridge

SNOW FIRS OF THE WILLAMETTE NATIONAL FOREST MOUNT CHAPIN (687-3643)I arrived early in the morning near Salt Creek Falls to photograph the recent snow storm the Cascade Mountains had received. As I was snowshoeing along, I came upon this majestic scene of snow covered fir trees. Stopping me in my tracks, I gazed out into the wilderness in awe at how beautiful this scene was. (173 657)
