The tunic is olive drab wool, remaining extremely clean and having very minor wear only. There are internal breast pockets with scalloped flaps and smooth, gold buttons. The lower pockets are internal and have straight flaps. There is a five button closure and all buttons are smooth gold metal. The collar tabs are for the Showa 13
