I had come looking for color, for sunrise and sunset light that turns the land vivid and brief. Instead, day after day, the coast stayed closed in. No breaks. No warmth. Just heavy air and a restless sea. Eventually, frustration turned into acceptance, and then into curiosity. I stopped waiting for the conditions I wanted
